Nadia Tramontano was born in Nocera Inferiore (Sa) on the 31st of december 1986. She lives and works in Nocera Superiore (Sa).

She studied at the artistic lyceum  and graduated in Painting  at the Fine Arts Academy in Naples During the first three years she attends different engraving courses and specializes in Print making under the guide of Maria Rosaria Perrella.  The technique she prefers is etching together with four-colour process, both objects of her degree thesis in 2011.
In her expressive research she is particularly interested in etching, likes working on copper matrices that she prints by her press in unique pieces for specific inkings.   She started her career in an art lab , she has been working in the field of graphic art for seven years. 

Thanks to her instruments and artistic knowledge, she has perceived the energy flowing in the things she lives.

 Energy she conveys in her expressive work, through strong colours suggesting an artistic message. She is able to convey a sense of warmth, depth, infinity and strength at the same time.  Her works represent “a jouney between us and the universe”.

 Fascinated by the beautiful landscapes nearby, she realizes personalised etchings of the Amalfi  and Sorrento coast, framed with vivid colours.

She took part to exhibitions, national and international competitions, tv programmes such as Uno Mattina. National magazines wrote about her.

 In  2010 she appeared, under the role of a merchant, in the short film “ Spina process” set in Amalfi. In 2001 she appeared in a local tv  programme. 

On the 3rd of June 2012 she was mentioned on Tg2 for her idea of realizing a xylography for the 57th historic regatta of the Ancient seafaring  republics of Amalfi.

Some of her printings are at the Cabinet of printings of Bagnacavallo near Ravenna and at the Fine Arts Academy in Naples.

She realized etchings and printings for the inauguration of the Archeologic museum of Naples on the 18th of February 2013.

On the 20th of july 2015 the town of Nocera Superiore chose her for the meeting of the Creator of Artistic culture in Poland, Plein _ Air ( Garbatka - LetniskoInspiration, 2015. Workshop in woodcut wood Nadia Tramontano (Carving, ink and print your creation wood), Kozienice forest.

In october 2015 she won a scholarship for the Workshop Landscape by Mosaic Master near the ancient shipyard in Amalfi under the guide of the master Giulio Menossi.

On the 20th of december 2015 she took part to an etching exhibition “Giubileo del segno” near the Printing of the Tiber until January 2016.

In june 2016 she took part to the International Prize of contemporary art in palazzo Fruscione in Salerno, where she showed a copper engraving on Amatruda Amalfi paper “ Che la luce risplenda su Parigi”, in memory of the attack of 13th November 2015.

On the occasion of the 61st Historic of the Ancient seafaring  republics she showed the technique of xylographic matrix showing the ”Amalfi Galleon”.

Then she took part to the Festival of handicraft in Cava de Tirreni where she showed printings of different kinds and did a demonstration pf xylographic printing “Ancient decks”.

On the 4th of september 2016 she did a demonstration of printings in a gallery in Ravello.

In 2017 she played a central role for the laboratory of Graphic for children in the Arsenal of the Republic of Amalfi with success.

In winter she is part of the artistic laboratory for children in the parish of Saint Michael archangel in Nocera Superiore with new ideas .

Later the idea of a showcase for her etchings and printings on paper and tissues and a wooden cart, built and painted by her family come true.

In march 2017 the first mobile print house was introduced in Italy, named Divine Art, a Copernicus revolution. It treats everything from technology to applied graphic art, publishing the ancient technique of chalcographic printing through the ancient hand machine: the chalcographic printing press.

Typical element of refinement and originality in Campania territory, the vintage cart started in april 2017 in Maiori, a big tour moving from one place to another, as the art it publishes, during the whole summer in the divine coast, with different stops and satisfactions. The print house and her creator are chosen by Pino Lodato as extras in the movie , written and directed by him, “Il Mare a Cetara non è solo mare”, from the namesake tale with songs.

In september she got the Prize Portraits of Territory Art and Creativity ( fundamentalists and dreamers).

On the 22nd of December the Printing celebrated the XIX stop in Marciani Palace in Roccapiemonte that become a christmas village on that occasion.

The jouney goes on bringing  surprises and whirlwind of emotions……
